    Save the beer!

SAVE THE BEER! Scores of Kegs Are Going Bad Due to the Wuhan Coronavirus Lockdown....

There is nothing more tragic than wasted alcohol. It’s a horrific sin. Yet, with the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, gallons upon gallons of fine brew could go bad. With most of the US under lockdown to control the spread to reduce the pressure on our health care system, no beer consumption at sporting events, bars, or restaurants, means that establishments have quite the supply that is quickly approaching its expiration date. Across the pond, in Britain, the situation is even direr as nearly half of all beer consumption in the country is done at pubs. They’re all closed right now (via WSJ):....snip~

Maybe they should offer to sell it to go. Like @Cotton1's dream, put that drink in a paper bag.

Liquor stores here closed in March and have remained closed. They are state-owned, and this is far-and-away the dumbest thing PA's "if it moves, tax it" governor has yet done and never tried to correct himself. By now, this state has probably lost hundred of millions of dollars in revenue directly attributable to his bizarre stupidity.

    Say goodbye, Wolf.

Privately owned beer stores remain open, and OP points out the reason. Thanks.

Sales have increased 20% at liquor stores in my area. However, the bars are closed. Since I barrel rolled my car in a neighbors yard I don't frequent them very often anymore anyway.

Ohio's Governor kept the liquor stores open. Sometimes I like Dewine.
