    As we bunker down from this Chinese Virus, let’s not forget that today is Victory in Europe Day. So many gave so much so long ago.

    Generally known as VE Day or V-E Day, today is a day celebrating the formal acceptance by the Allies of World War II of Nazi Germany's unconditional surrender of its armed forces on Tuesday, 8 May 1945, marking the end of World War II in Europe.

    An estimated 70,000,000 - 85,000,000 people died in WW2.
