    Our new tank killer

Kind of changes the equation against the new Russian and Chinese tanks. https://www.army-technology.com/news...model-missile/

    The F-model man portable Javelin.

Under the contract, the company is set to manufacture 2,100 F-model missiles.
The FGM-148F missile is equipped with an advanced, multipurpose warhead (MPWH) and will replace the FGM-148E (Block I) weapon.
The F-Model’s MPWH can defeat existing, future and explosive reactive armours.
Additionally, the upgraded version of the missile features a fragmenting steel case to engage targets such as light armoured vehicles.

JJV vice-president and Lockheed Martin Javelin programme director David Pantano said: “The F-Model combines multiple features such as blast fragmentation and high-explosive anti-tank into a single warhead.
Javelin is a man-portable, fire-and-forget weapon system that has proven its capability in combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Since its deployment in 1996, the US and its coalition forces have used the missile in more than 5,000 engagements.

More than 45,000 ordered Javelin missiles are expected to be delivered to the US military operational inventory through 2050.

The Dragon was the primary anti-tank weapon for light infantry when I was infantry. I never got to use the Javelin.

Well its fire and forget, reloadable, it attacks from the top, it uses a one for all warhead, it triggers defensive reactive systems first and then attacks the thinly armored top of the tank, it can kill a tank from 3 miles away, they have a 9x night sight and advanced IR/Laser dual seeker, it has direct LOF or top attack modes, and it only weighs 50 lbs. Even we can't defend against the thing with our best tanks.

Our Striker brigades will be equipped with them, some with Javelin F's and some with the new 30mm cannon. Were even going to put them on Land drones. Best of all a lot of our long range artillery/missilery, these strykers, and SHORAD air defense will all be easily air transportable which mean we can unleash a whole lot of whoop ass in a short amount of time with weaponry easily flown in. The Army and USMC are even developing shore/land based, road transportable, Tomahawk and LRASM's for a lot more of long range ass from the land.

But as good as the Jav-F is for us, we have a whole lot of ways to kill tanks, so its even better for places like Taiwan or Ukraine to kill commie tanks on the cheap and make the buggers pay dearly for every modern tank they send in. Its like the Stinger missile equivalent of the edge we gave our northern coalition allies in against the reds in Afghanistan in the '80s. And it kills a whole lot more then tanks. It would chew up landing craft and any kind of vehicle. If an el cheapo RPG can cause so many problems imagine what these can do?
