I guess I'm thinking too far back when they played in Cleveland stadium. They had so many seats that people would to bother to buy them until game day, so if the weather was not great then the stadium looked like a graveyard.

The rules they are imposing upon the players are completely ridiculous.

Unless you're a purist, sports events with no crowds are much less fun to watch. A central element of the appeal of sports is the social dynamic. So I refuse to be okay with this.

This is sad. The playoff idea makes sense.

Below is what's wrong with professional sports AND a commentary on how out of touch pro athletes and other elites are. Blake Snell won't play for half pay and "risk his life"
OK Blake how about you don't play and live off the unemployment many Americans are and then realize that that's more than some of the fans who pay your salary make when they work.
Then calculate the miniscule odds that he, a healthy young person, will die from COVID. Only a few healthy young nurses have died ( last I knew 11 in NYS)and they are repeatedly exposed for under $100,000.00 and they go to work without crying like the poor ass excuse for a man you are!
I'm trying to express how I feel about this low life who won't give people some distraction for 3-4 mill in a half season because he's afraid. But there are no words!
This kind of thing supports the argument that maybe the time of pro sports should be over.
