Glad they came to an amicable agreement.

There are some groups, and some City Officials who could learn something from this, but too many are so far beyond understanding, that it is unlikely.

It should. It was ridiculous to take the statue down and now they are going to desecrate the graves. That isnt in the name of PC. That's straight up cowardice. I'm proud the presence of Confederate military heroes upsets the balance and is a threat to so many people.

I'm not. The statue should've never been removed in the first place and now the graves? They have already been moved once before in 1904 to what was formerly "Forrest Park". Now to move them again is a shame. I have early memories of going there with my father when I was just a young Cotton stalk.

Interesting. Its ok to have an MLK Blvd to honor the racist, divisive , riot inciter MLK but not Confederate statues. In Memphis they renamed a street to "Forest" from "Forrest" to pacify a few whining crybabies.
