Invasive species of lizard from Africa has moved into Florida and Georgia. About 4 feet long, looks like a monitor lizard, and is said to be a voracious eater of "anything it wants". Sentiment is "kill 'em if you see 'em", as they are destructive of our native animals.

I wonder what it tastes like (chicken, ya think?), and if it would make a nice pair of shoes.
