To Peter1469, you should not blame an entire group for the actions of one man. There will always be radical groups stemming from different ideologies, so it is our duty to come together and combat them wherever they may arise for the sake of peace.

You had best arm yourself because the "combat" could end up on your doorstep.............or are you one who prefers others to do the fighting for them?

To Chris and Mister D, it is an antiquated concept to think of Sovereignty as being limited to a certain geographical area (country) or person (monarch). Sovereignty can exist without either, for example, if the Roman Republic had conquered the whole world.

Oh, come on, you're not addressing the contradiction of sovereignty under one-world government. The Roman Republic never conquered the whole world.

To stjames1_53, Sovereignty is not about ruling the world. It is simply pointing out the fatal flaw with how today's governments are structured and provides us with a solution to fixing them. However, I would have to disagree with you when it comes to the individual not needing the collective, because we absolutely need both if society is to make true progress.

To quote Martin Luther King, "truth is neither in traditional capitalism nor in classical communism. Each represents a partial truth. Capitalism fails to see the truth in collectivism. Communism fails to see the truth in individualism. Capitalism fails to realize that life is social. Communism fails to realize that life is personal. The good and just society is neither the thesis of capitalism nor the antithesis of communism, but a socially conscious democracy which reconciles the truths of individualism and collectivism."

For us, Sovereignty is the socially conscious democracy Mr. King spoke of.
