I love to experiment. I got some cranberries cheap. So I juiced them and made almost two gallons of cranberry lemonade wine. That was in 2014. Tonight I opened a bottle. It is a little light on taste. Maybe 8-9% alcohol. It's taste lingers for more than a minute mostly on the front and sides of my tongue. I can feel a heat sensation high in my throat. The cranberry has a tartness to it.
If I made it again I would pair it with a stronger fruit. I think I would use a champagne yeast to boost its alcohol content. I might try it with cherries in a 60-40 cherry-cranberry mix.
I have little doubt I will finish the bottle this evening.
