He is doing that because Colorado has the worst death rate per capita due to Covid west of the Mississippi. It's a political play to save face. Nothing more.

They are no different than other states of the same populations. Those states are usually defined by one big city and a large geography. In the case of CO it was just Denver and its bedroom communities and that is about 10% of the geography.

Colorado has the worst rate of death per capita west of the Mississippi. That is fact. Meanwhile the State is 47th in testing. This governor is failing and this is an attempt to make his failure simply "go away". Frankly I'm surprised you're defending a "Demo" governor and his political game playing at the cost of the lives of the people he is supposed to protect.
