An idea about organizing grocery lists.

I went to the grocery store today. I forgot to get what spurred me to go in the first place, tomatoes. It gave me an idea. Since I basically know where everything I usually buy is I am going to start writing a list thats in the order of where it is in the store. That'll save me a lot of back and forth in the store. I get distracted and like today I checked out electronics in the middle of grocery shopping. Therefore I forgot more than tomatoes. I even forgot to take my list. Anyone have any better ideas?

I went to the kitchen to fix a Brown Sugar Ham sammich, without tomatoes. I decided afterwards I would have an Orange Sherbet with Ginger Ale. I forgot the ginger ale! Thats what gave me idea to make my list out in the order it is in the store. The ginger ale is all the way in the back and the ice cream is near the front. I think I got distracted by a peanut butter pie. I shouldve know not to go hungry. I usually dont go till afternoon. Today I woke up early and thought "what to do today"? I know I will go to the grocery store! Thats a part of my life I need to tighten up how I do it.

I love women. I love them so much. But I don't want someone telling me to go to bed before daylight, changing the channel making me watch weird stuff on TV. Other than that I make a good husband. I'm a bit old fashioned. I open doors for women, I dont argue with them. Im almost too easy. On the other hand it would be nice not having to get my own beer from the fridge .

I make a list sometimes but I have never thought of making my list in the order its placed in the grocery store. I have only recently really started cooking actual meals. I used to just grab a few things to hold me over betweem Uber Eats/takeout/pizza etc. I dont really cook in the manner most dp but it gets me from A to B.

My mother taught me wayback.

Nobody has taught me. My late wife rarely cooked. I have always just ate when I eat. The corona situation and being at home so much gave me an interest in kitchen stuff. Im trying to prepare myself today for a broad range of things down the road. Say 5-10 years from now I get sick or something and its just me. I want to do what needs to be done on my own if I have to. Say I remarry in a few years or something I just won't let her know I know how to do it myself. I broke my foot a year or so ago. I slipped on a hardwood floor. That and a few other things have shown me that things you take for granted can change any minute. It gives me a focus.
