The media has been bashing Sweden for not doing what they the media told them to do. Any day the infected number rose they said "see!, see!, see!".
The number that have built up antibodies in Sweden is up to about 25% now according to their reports and the herd is surviving. They will not be locking down when other Europens run back into their basements this fall.
This is the question. Where did you see 25%? Time will tell if they get to the 80 to 90 % level for true herd immunity. As of now their numbers appear little different from other countries.

And as they mentioned. No one is near herd immunity. But he did say this in your link.

On April 24, chief epidemiologist Tegnell told BBC radio that the authorities believed Stockholm had "an immunity level... somewhere between 15 and 20% of the population."

He said the strategy had "worked in some aspects ... because our health system has been able to cope. There has always been at least 20% of the intensive care beds empty and able to take care of Covid-19 patients."

Asked whether Sweden's approach will help it withstand a possible second wave, Tegnell said he believed it would.....snip~

The article clearly states that Sweden was at around 7%

Yes it does.....based on 1118 tests in one week. But now they are planning the same amount of tests for another 8 weeks. Tegnell expects that the percentage will rise but still not hit 90% herd immunity.

That still doesn't change what they said to the BBC on April 24th does it?

I don't know about the BBC comments. I don't want to argue with you about the numbers. I posted the OP article because this is the one situation where we may be able to actually compare the two approaches, lockdown Vs no or minimal lockdown as in Sweden. The theory is that no lockdown would result in a faster path to herd immunity. So far the numbers don't bare that out. That could change though. We'll just have to see.

See Brazil. Brazil is the 0 versus 1 binary comparison. Not sure which way it's going to go over time. But the contrast is clear.

I'm not familiar with the Brazil situation. I did see a report today from a drone flyover showing mass graves in Brazil.
