Forced Lockdowns

When the virus first hit I was for voluntary quarantine..I thought anyone at greater risk because of age or health should remain quarantined. I was never for forced quarantine..Americans should have a choice, quantine or not.

I quarantined because my wife is a greater risk and I was NOT going to take a chance of bringing it home to her.

Everyone is blaming the govt, but that needs to be clarified as to who the real villains are in all this.

At first the Federal Govt reacted to what they were being told by "SUPPOSED" health experts..WHO and the CDC.

Fast forward, all the forced lockdowns are being forced by GOVERNORS and MAYORS

FEAR was and is still to a degree being peddled by our wonderful liberal press nearly across the board.

The blame needs to be placed squarly where it belongs...but it wont there will still be democrat hacks and nutjobs that want to blame trump...they are such phony buffoons

It also should be a lesson about false and invalid computer modeling at the highest levels of academia and "science" that underpins global warming BS with mostly fanciful doodling having just about nothing to do with reality but so colorful as to be almost pretty.

I agree. The lockdowns should have been for at risk people should they so choose to separate themselves from the world.

These local and state politicians better get their heads out of their asses and reopen the economy.

I suspect they are stilil choosing to lock down people in order to cover their butts and avoid massive litigation that could occur if someone contracts the virus and it either kills them or leaves them with lifelong medical issues.

They are going to get dragged out into the streets and beat if they don't stop their silliness.

Either way for them it's a no-win scenario; if they let people freely out and resume life as normal, they'll end up getting sued in court and if they don't let people out, they'll get sued in court. Not a good time to be a politician these days.

The city or state may get sued. But they likely have legal protections assuming gross negligence isn't involved.

It's all bull$#@!. It just showed that we really have no more freedoms than China when it comes down to it. They can tell you what to do, no legislation required, no regard for the Constitution required.
