    Rewatching Glee

A couple of days ago when I could not sleep I started rewatching Glee.

I wondered if I would like it, given that it has aged. As I watched I realized the story tellers were covering the big questions of life.

At some point I will try my hand at fiction. I see plenty of lessons in a series like Glee. I also watched the Game of Thrones twice because it, too addresses the big questions. What is love? What is family? What is betrayal? What is forgiveness? Do gods exist? If they do what do they want from us?

What is important? Does what is important change over time?
What is honor? Why should we keep our word?

What happens to us when we fail?

Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

You must be really bored, lol.

Good for you, though - Glee was interesting. I only watched some of it when it was originally on, but the episode about teen drinking was hilarious.

In a course I took the instructor had us read the entire Harry Potter series. He wanted us to learn two lessons. The first was how to advance a story, scene by scene. The second was how to make better sentences by adding to them. I had learned the opposite, to make a better sentence by removing everything possible from it.

Now I see he had a hidden objective. We have to expose our readers to life's most important questions. Glee does it. GOT does it. Potter does it.
