The Democrat Party has been taken over by the extreme left. If Biden wants to be their nominee, he's going to be forced to go along.

There are two things going on with the Dems. First, Obama completed the purging of the Blue Dogs and shifted the Dem focus from the working man and the welfare state to various disparate victim groups and the welfare state. A big reason Trump won in 2016 was that tossed-aside working class.

Second, the socialist democrats are gaining momentum. These are the Bernies and the AoCs. Even the progressive Dems are frightened of them because while they have major voting power, they don't bring a majority of America to the vote.
