I agree with that! However, they do make for a warm up or to keep fresh between bouts with a serious challenger. In post 12 he lays out a long socialist wish list regarding serious issues with serious microeconomic and macroeconomic consequences. Then ..9 posts later in post #21 he says he is "no economist". Couldve fooled me lol...

Embracing the lowest common denominator is not something that I suggested when asked the question. There will always be rich and poor , but a rigged system in favor of those with wealth is the problem. Inequality of opportunity is the myth that needs to be addressed . Basic education , in particular , should be made available to everyone , with an adequate system of scholarships and bursaries for those most capable of pursuing higher education . At the moment , higher education is only available to sons and daughters of the wealthy , which has dragged the average IQ of the nation far below what it should be ......tPF is testimony to that....(lol)
Scott Ritter?
Am I the only one here who remembers that clown?

"While investors are still learning what happened to them in the 1990s and are trying to get their money back, they find themselves facing a new set of dangers—in some cases from the same people who victimized them before. And while it's been difficult for all investors, smaller investors have had a particularly tough time. During the 1990s small investors lost out to professional financial firms that manipulated the market; this time they're likely to lose out—if they're not careful—to other sophisticated investors as well." .........https://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/the-problem-with-hedge-funds ......The use of hedge funds has been thoroughly abused , so it would be a net economic efficiency gain , if they were banned altogether . Desperate times call for drastic measures.
