What a bunch of baloney. American conservatives exist in a bubble so thick they can't see reality staring them in the face. Jobs, work, inner city conditions, do you people ever see reality. Seems not. If opportunity were equal results would be equal, they are not and while you apologists for nonsense and a stupid president blabber on, nothing changes. Just another circle jerk of pretend knowledge, self congratulatory foolishness. Open your eyes it may help.

This seems to be the only part of your post that contains your own words.

The title of this thread, "Black America Needs Fathers" is apropos. It's vital to the eventual success of the black community. You claim, "If opportunity were equal, results would be equal," but two-parent families figure into that opportunity. It doesn't matter if someone is white or black, if they have a single-parent family, they're more likely to be poor, less educated, and also more likely to follow a life of crime.

How do you suggest society gets that truth through to black fathers? How can they explain that it's vital those men be monogamous and that they marry (and stay married to) the mothers of their children? How does society the truth through to black females that they ought not to spread their legs for anyone but the man who puts a ring on their finger?

It's a challenge to be sure, but it's one that's not off-limits to discuss.

We have a problem -- what do you see as a way to turn it around?

    Stupid post.

The welfare system destroyed the black family and this fool celebrates it.

    It's stupid and recycled.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

"If opportunity were equal results would be equal" is pure wishful thinking. Things work by the Pareto Principle. Differences in people result in different outcomes.

I work under a VP who considers himself a software engineer and architect who can look at an app for a week and not find the bug in it. I can spend an hour and find it and fix it. I'm just better at that. He's better as BS and works the Peter Principle better than I.
Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire. ― Gustav Mahler
