The CEO said they withstood it as long as they could and they are shuttering 7 stores in minority neighborhoods for good. They are now left with no groceries for sale and no fresh food.

What a horror for all the people in those neighborhoods who have done nothing wrong, all the people that are scared themselves and are staying home hoping they dont become victims. Now what stores were there are shuttering for good.

I said this would happen its happened before, this time its going to be much worse and much more widespread
That is the way it goes.

Thats the million dollar question dont read...The only thing that can take back the neighborhood from thugs, dope dealers and every type of nefarious person is the same thing they hate the most...The Police...no community organizer ever saved a neighborhood..

Now for the next 2 yrs theres going to be even less police in those neighborhoods, responding slower and in some cases afraid to be aggressive...The politicians want these riots to enhance their chances for election and electing democrats..but its the same people they need to vote for them that will be by far the biggest price for this

Liberals think so much of themselves, think they are so much smarter than anyone else...yet they cant figure out what dirtbag moves the democrat party does to minorities for THEIR OWN GAIN

There was once a Winn Dixie grocery store in downtown Jacksonville Florida. It was the only full service grocery store for miles. It hung on as a community service for years until even hiring armed guards at the store was not enough to stop the shoplifting and other crimes. The store closed and was torn down completely. Now the area that really needs less expensive groceries can't get them because the residents wouldn't allow the police to arrest those who were stealing. Now, they are complaining its a food desert because there are no stores within five miles of downtown. Are the stores supposed to stay open and have 3/4's of their merchandise stolen?

What do we do with Caucasians that get one strike? One way ticket back to Europe, no return?

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

that really is just the start, a lot of the small business owners in these areas were just opening back up or ready to from the Chinese pandemic that had already hit them hard. now many have had their business looted, burned, vandalized and will not recover some will move out of the area.
All this riot crap did was hurt the black community in general and in mostly democrat areas .

For a long time in Atlantic City NJ there was no grocery stores on the island, seniors and people without cars were screwed...many had to take cabs for 40 bucks..20 off island and 20 back...

One opened up brand new store, shut down in less than a year and half...too much crime and breakins and armed robberies they were losing money....another period with no grocery store...finally another came in...i left I have no idea whats there now
