    George Floyd

The cop now arrested for George Floyds death was wrong and all cops like him should be purged from wearing a uniform.

My son in laws both agree and so does everyone they work with they told me.

Was it racism? I dont know, there are cops that do it to white males just as fast as black, are they schizo' or just have in them to be rotten mean $#@!s I dont know..but just because its a white male and black male doesnt make everything about racism...even though liberals try to make it so.

Never have I ever done anything like that it takes a rotten mean flawed individual that can hurt anything thats helpless..Police should never hesitate to harm anyone whos trying to hurt them or hurting someone else.
But they should never harm anyone when its unnecessary, like Derek Chauvin did.

There was a time when they gave police officers yearly health exams physical acruity exams and psychological exams. Neither of my son in laws depts do that , its as needed...as needed is too late.

They need to up the standards to be a police officers back to what they were pre 70s...they need to reintroduce yearly psyche exams to assure mental health. Cities stopped it to spend the money elsewhere.

I sincerely hope another George FLoyd doesnt happen, but these riots are more about stealing free stuff untethered and not having much to worry about getting busted than it is about Floyd....Floyd is an excuse.

I'm not a policeman but people need to understand that many big city police officers make life and death decisions every day, on their own behalf. If I was a policeman I would get so tired of dealing with scumbags of all colors I wouldnt see them as black or white. I'd see them as detriments and symbols of how toxic society has become. As for Floyd? I agree, twas never about Floyd. Its incredible the impact crowd psychology has on individuals.

The system sucks. The cops feel like they are wasting their time and they have to keep arresting the same people over and over again. They get frustrated.
The criminals also get emboldened. George Floyd knew he passed phony bills and broke the law. He hung around waiting for the cops because he was either too high or just too ignorant. The store worker went out to him and demanded their product back. He refused and knew the cops would show up. He stayed. Make sense out of that.

There are also bad cops and they do get protected by other cops. Just like the protestors cover for the rioters and looters.

Then we have the soft as puppy chit citizens that say we need to rehabilitate criminals by teaching them to knot and then release them if they can make a pot holder. Even earlier if it is flu season now.

Is it possible that Floyd unknowingly passed a bogus bill.
One can be sure that he who says he knows knows nothing

There are police officers who just enjoy being bullies. When I was young I was out driving in my Triumph Spitfire with a friend one night. I was stopped by a cop who told me I didn't slow down for a green light. I told him the light was green why should I stop or slow down. He gave me some bull$#@! story about what if a pregnant women were headed to the hospital. He stopped me for the simple reason I looked young and the guy that was with me had long hair (this was the late 1960's). He pulled his car right against my rear bumper and told me my tag light was out. You couldn't see the tag light because his car's light was overpowering the tag light. He couldn't give me a ticket for running a green light so he gave me an inspection ticket for the light. This was a huge racket in Maryland at the time as the required inspection always uncovered some alleged infraction. Running a green light that night cost me over $100.00 for the inspection and repairs, a lot of money in 1968 for a young college student. I am convinced the only reason I was stopped was because my passenger had long hair and was therefore a "hippie".

I believe blacks are stopped more frequently for lesser charges than whites but they are not the only ones that are targeted by rogue cops.

Entirely possible. Which is why it is so important that people be given their day in court.
