It was on a historic rail road .
I had to be able to actully operate a steam coal fired locomotive .
I had to pull them up to a coal dock.
Now i did this with 3 to 4 turn of the century locomotives a night . after I got the first one lined up next to the coal dock. I would fill up the oil cans then climb up to where the big bell is on the front with a 50 lb bag of play sand on my shoulder and fill the bell might have to make 2 trips.
Next id check the water height in the boiler and steam pressue and stoke the fire if needed and adx coal or water if needed. Then comes the fun part. Each one held between 4 to 6 ton of coal . you got up on the dock put a board across to the coal bin on the locamotive . then you filled a wheel barrel up and ran it across the board making sure uoi didnt fall 12 feet down on the tracks. You did this untill the coal bin was full moved the engine then repeated the process till all of the engines were full on a good night to shoveled 20 tons of coal.
Then you had to keep water and steem pressure up all night and tend to the fire .
Yes i was covered in coal dust and sweat at the end of the night.
It was one of those easy jobs that all rich republicans get . naturally It was easy work by democrat standards .sure was nice i was born with a silver spoon in my mouth .
Sounds to me this is the path you chose in life. Obviously you're satisfied with the type of work that you do, so that is good. Some people don't wish to follow the same path that you do; they may have different talents and bring certain disciplines to the table. I know of both democrats and republicans who work as laborers (and yes even some independents as well) and as long as you enjoy your work, it shouldn't matter what you do in life.

If you love the feeling of coal dust and sweat over your body at the end of a day of work and you wake up each morning looking forward to going to work, then it's all worth it. On the other hand, if you are an attorney, politician, executive, cop or department store manager, etc and you wake up each day dreading going to work, then it's not worth it under any circumstances. You only live one life; you should enjoy it to the max, living by your means.

Think 3rd party for 2024 folks. Clean up America.

Once I tell you that we agree to disagree there will be no more discussion between us in the thread so please don't waste your time continuing to argue your points because I will not respond.

    Who makes the RAM?
What is the penetration of Microsoft in Australia, does some of Gates' wealth come from Australia?
Is it true Sydney has a Microsoft flagship store, the first outside of North America?
Is it still a fact that too many Australians still use XP? https://www.kotaku.com.au/2017/05/to...ng-windows-xp/

Little story fer ya, PJL. Some years ago, the year Romney was running against Obama....we had a little protest/sit in on Wall Street called Wall Street Occupier Movement. Basically, the same scum as you see out looting America each night. Another class-based protest, just like this one. Sadly PJL, the Founder of Apple passed from cancer, his name was Steve Jobs. A Capitalist elite. Has his product the iPad and iPhone made in China. Made serious f'n bank and transformed the world. But he was quintessential Wall Street. Quintessential Capitalism. Quintessential gross profit. The very thing these Occupiers were apparently protesting.....that was Steve Jobs in a nutshell. But when they all heard of his passing....all of these Occupiers set aside their....iPhone, iPads, headphones, internet access, set aside all of their electronics......all made by massive Wall Street Firms by the f'n way...and gave a moment of silence for Jobs....the biggest capitalist save for Bill Gates.

Then after the moment of silence.....for Steve Jobs the quintessential Wall Streeter. Quintessential Capitalist. Quintessential gross profit maker.....they picked their phones back up to selfie themselves protesting Wall Street. Capitalism. And gross profit.

I'm sitting there like.....uhhhh…..does anyone in your little Occupier Movement....know how f'n stupid you all look?
Yes the Occupy Wall Street dummies folded under Antifa (Anti-First Amendment).

Of course they rioted. Remember the over turned police cars and fires all over? They were the same group that followed the G-8 around burning cities where the G-8 held meetings.

The worrying trend in these demonstrations is that payed goons are hired by George Soros and others , with a specific agenda to turn peaceful demonstrations violent , with the direct intent of discrediting the peaceful demonstrations , and allowing the media to give a false public impression of actual events .......it's a worry.
