I did Algebra and Geometry in HS but no math In college

When I hit trig is when things went bad ! !!

i decided to not take calculus because I knew it’s a huge step up

Trig just killed me
geometry was never to hard except those stupid proofs
I breezed through Algebra

If you take much more than trig and don't use it then you are going to forget it anyways. That leaves a handful of people and the teachers that teach it to the next group that will never use it. Most of the electives were a huge waste of time. No wonder Europeans only have three years for what we call undergraduate degrees. I think at least a year was wasted. The second degree was a breeze because I stayed at the same college and already had most of the requirements. Plus, when I saw old men dying behind drafting boards, designing the bolt that held on the right front fender of the car, then the fascination was gone with mechanical engineering.

I have 2 Engineering degrees so almost every class I had was math, but as far as a straight math class that would be Differential Equations. The sciences such as Statics, Dynamics, Kinetics all carried there own specific math studies along wit the science. Chemistry, Physics and the other general sciences.
I have 2 Engineering degrees and an MBA.

I have never heard anyone refer to "multi-variable calculus" courses though.
