Most people are sheeple. They're bandwagon riders and they just have to "join up." What happened to Floyd was awful, but it was really a local issue, and the guy who did it has been charged with Murder 2. People just don't think for themselves, and the media takes advantage of that.
Now, I totally support teaching de-escalation tactics to our law enforcement officers, which might help avoid situations similar to the Floyd incident, but at some point, people have to understand that a good number of criminals are violent and the police might have to use deadly force.
For the second time in a decade, the anti-officer sentiment is putting cops in danger, because brainwashed morons fall for the media's narrative. Despite the stats, we have members of this very forum who think there's systemic racism in the treatment of suspects. It's the media's fault, and now we're seeing the fallout from the idiocy.
