There’s going to come a time when no one can be honored as it will always offend someone. It will be Fort#1, Fort #2 etc.

I need to order some Bragg t-shirts so if I go back after a name change I can wear it.

The hard left will probably try to change the name of Ft. Hood to Ft. Hasan.
Forts Grant, Sherman, Sheridan, etc. The ones we have now dishonor those who fought to keep the Union together. It is a separate issue from the statues. One is state and one is national.

This isn't about the Confederacy. It's about white people and the history of this country generally. It starts with Bragg and Lee. It moves on to Washington and Jefferson. Side with your own.

It wasn't until around WWI that Americans owed their allegiance to the nation. Prior, allegiance was to your state. I get a trip reading here and on FB that these men were traitors. Well, no they were not. They were true to their states.

Why not just name bases after the counties in which they are built i.e. instead of Ft Bragg, make it Ft Cumberland and instead of Ft. Hood it becomes Ft Bell?
In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.
