The Army is considering renaming army installations which were named in honor of confederate Generals. Ft Benning, the home of the infantry, is one. Ft Bragg and Ft Hood are two others.
Is this a good idea or PC run amok?

Fort Floyd? How about the USS Freddie Gray?

PC run amok.
I need to order some Bragg t-shirts so if I go back after a name change I can wear it.
The hard left will probably try to change the name of Ft. Hood to Ft. Hasan.

It is an absurd idea.

I hope the army only considers this and rejects the idea.
David Patreus supports the name changing. That doesn't surprise me.

Places like Fort Bragg and Fort Hood have their own history. To just wipe that out to appease a bunch of limp wristed crybabies is not only absurd, it is cowardly.

How about States that change those names have to give back all the money made due to those Military bases?
