Woman hatches ducke with supermarket eggs

    https://www-bbc-com.cdn.ampproject.o...herts-52838747

A woman has hatched three ducklings called Beep, Peep and Meep from eggs she bought in Waitrose.

Charli Lello, 29, from Hertfordshire, put the Clarence Court eggs in an incubator as an experiment to pass the time after being furloughed.

They don't have to be fertilized somehow? Yes, I was a naive city boy. But don't try to tell me that she sat on them until they hatched.

Farmers that raise eggs try to keep the males away from eggs meant for market. But sometime a male is to cool for that and fertilizes some anyway. I am not sure if this can happen in US commercial factory farms since they put eggs into a chlorine bath (which is why the Euros don't want them).

If you've never cracked open an egg with a (chicken) fetus inside? You haven't lived.
