Post Will there be college football this fall? How so?

I don't have a lot of sports joy in my life but I do have The Ohio State Buckeyes!!!

Given the issues surrounding the Chinese Virus, do you think we will have NCAA football this year? If so, under what circumstances? Will they complete the season? Will they have fans?

I think that they will start and do everything that they can to finish the season - there's too much money involved.

I have no idea. As far as I can tell, liberals are hellbent on ruining society at least until the presidential election is over.
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

I'm getting to the point that I don't care any more. The political activist types are ruining everything.

Ditto. Absolutely, ditto. I love college football. It's really the only sports joy I have in my life. It'll be ruined if it goes all political on me. I tune in to escape and experience the joy of the sport. I may bail on all of it.

We have coaches being forced to apologize because of which news network they like. Now a conference commissioner is trying to basically extort a state into changing a state flag. Everything is being ruined by having PC politics forced upon us.

I think it's likely that there will not be any college football this year. I think it won't resume until the fall of 2020.

Yeah. I’m retired. I lose track time. It’s not important any more.

Im curious as to how they will handle the recruiting class which and scholarships of the kids who won’t be able to play this year. Then add in the dynamic of the 2021 recruiting class.

The first year I attended college, I was on an athletic scholarship for the crew team. I partied myself out of school my freshman year. I screwed that up big time. My brother reminds me about it every time I see him.
