True. I do not think the Supreme Court is ever going to go against the precedent of Roe v. Wade or the subsequent cases relevant to this specific case (Peter cited the one in Texas). This is showboating for no purpose other than to gain votes from susceptible voters and ultimately it wastes the time and money of the state and taxpayers.

It's not much different than making issues out of non-issues... like who can use which bathroom. It was not an issue prior to some politicians deciding to waste time and money on it.

It's three-card Monte - look at what this hand is doing, and ignore the other.

It was health safety legislation. Why do abortionists get special treatment when it comes to health related issues?
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

I have had more invasive and dangerous dental procedures ,and my dentists are not medical doctors and have no privileges at any hospital. There are many dermatologists who use products that have rare, life-threatening side-effects ,and they don't have privileges. There are nursing clinics that do wound care, IVs, and more based on a physician's order without a physician on the property - and those nurses don't have hospital privileges. My gynecologist wouldn't have hospital privileges if she weren't also an OB. Complications from abortions are rare enough .that it's just not necessary (which is what the court concluded).
