Max left a hole and sasha filled it

My little big boy max passed away in Dec..we rescued sasha from a friends sister who had to have open heart surgery and has so many ailmets should couldnt take care of her..

When we got sasha I admit I spent most all my time with max because I had to do alot of him he was blind and I used t pick him and put him next to me on the couch and put him down..I had to bring his food to him when he got disoriented and couldnt find it...So the result was I never bonded with sasha..

Since max has gone over the rainbow..me and sasha are close, I walk her every morning and evening, we play and shes always hanging out around me..She filled the hole max made...

@Dr. Who who told me when max passed and I was down that soon I would only think about all the good things...you were right

    common, I do understand.

I have had a life full of pets, and losing any of them has been hard.

Sasha is a lucky one to be with you.

Luckily, I haven't had to deal with the death of a pet yet. We just got my firstborn child in December of 2018, so she's about 2 1/2 now, and I can't imagine what it would be like to lose her. We very briefly did lose her to her technical original owner for about a week, but thankfully they brought her back to us. That was hard enough to deal with though.

I'm sorry for your loss, but glad you got that hole filled!

Oh no, my firstborn is my dog. I don't have an actual human child yet, lol. I just call her my firstborn because my parents and in-laws have been pushing me and my wife into having kids and we keep telling them to shut up because they have a granddog :P

I have lost a child, and, yes, it is so far worse than losing a pet that it is not comparable.
