Socialists and communists want to abolish capitalism in favor of an entirely different system. Communists, in particular, want to abolish capitalism and the state. If you want to establish a socialist society, you don't do everything in your power to keep socialists from running your party and instead choose corporate capitalists to run it.

Modern Democrats want to abolish capitalism as we practice it and establish a new cooperative type system.
