Solutions or Destruction

I am going to ask that you all put some thought into this as I want to prove a point. The point being if we forget about the fact that we are liberal or conservative, republican or democrat and concentrate on Solutions to our problems instead.

Much can be done, and hope can be brought back to our country.....

But therein lies the problem. People are proposing solutions I'm not ok with. 50% + 1 isn't going to make me ok with it either.

Thought number one!!!

Today there will be many Celebrations around the country, but there are likely to be many protests around the nation as well!

There are a growing number of people that don't feel that the USA has been fair to them, and lets face it we have lots of flaws in our past, as all nations do.

Unfortunately some of these Protest will turn violent and criminal in their behavior, many if not most of the time against the will of the original organizers of the protest and this simple is wrong as well

So what can be done to once and for all bring about the change that we are looking for and to put the past behind us, I have my thoughts but will save them for later in the thread.

And that is certainly part of the problem, but in this country we don't always get to have our way. That is part of the beauty of it.

I will point out this, if there are those here, that believe that they have the right to not be offended, that is wrong too. Not one person in this country including myself has a right to not be offended.

Not if the result is the governments get to make a majority of the economic decisions. I've been there. If I make a dollar and I have to give the governments $.56 -- no, sorry, not interested.

We start with: INDIVIDUALS make the MAJORITY of economic decisions.

You know if you want to take $.40 off each dollar, frankly I don't even give a $#@! what they do with the $.40....THAT'S FAIR.

Its NEVER enough though.
