The 25th Amendment's provisions are easier to carry out on paper than in the real world - one major impediment being that the removal of a President when he does not want to go voluntarily requires that a majority of the Cabinet must agree with the incumbent Vice-President to remove him. If this was an easy process, given all that we know about Trump's bizarre behavior in recent years, we'd have seen it done some time early in 2018 or so.
