Everybody is crazy! Sure there are different kinds of crazy, different levels and combinations but nobody escapes all of it.

About 34 million adults in USA suffer Moderate Mental Disability (myself included) and 10 million suffer Severe Mental Disability. Still a minority.

Its not a "pity party". He considers himself blessed . citizen may be different in manner of expression but there is a brilliance there. This is how he searches for it.

Many people do not get my orbit.

I am learning. My son ticked off 9 of the 10 signs early on. My wife showed them to me and it was OMG. That is Kevin. Thankfully he is very high functioning (Asperger's ) and fits in pretty well. Middle school was tough at times but 9th grade was great till the hoax virus came along (sarcasm). I have worked with the very autistic kids. One was the smartest kid in the school. I would ask a high end question during exercises in PE and after all the wrong answers, Brandon would casually give the right answer EVERY TIME. He won our district spelling bee in 6th grade. And he was a HOOT on that stage. My son this morning actually killed me with a comment. Dad: Kevin, your shirt is backwards. Kevin: It was on right when I went to bed. Dad: Must have been some damned good dreams last night.

I think you missed my point. First of all it is my opinion that everybody ha somes issues from alcoholism to ADD to depression , anxiety, food disorders violence, serial cheating, personality disorders etc. Most are not diagnosed but many more could be at some point in time.

Secondly this is a point I often make with those who feel mentally ill are just" whacko" or drug addicts merely weak willed or homeless just "bums". In other words I hold up a mirror because they know just tlike we all do .... we are all a bit crazy in some way.
