It's idiotic to think we're going to have some sort of civil war in this country. Absent some huge change in popular opinion, Biden will win in November and Trump will be gone by January. And, hopefully, the Democrats can take back the Senate as well. We'll have a return to rational leadership. I'm sure the right will go back into the same whining mode they were in for the entire Obama administration, but I'll be much happier letting them whine when they are no longer in control of the government. Some right wing crackpots will almost certainly engage in violent demonstrations, but it will hopefully be limited in scope and effect. The real fight will be an internecine war among the Republicans, as the establishment folks try to figure out how to save the party from the Trumpers.

Control in 2009...and surged in Afghanistan. Didn't defund police. Didn't do anything with dreamers. Deported many illegals without due process. But most importantly, lost the House in 2010 and the Senate by 2014. And the then the Oval Office in 2016.

We're told it will seem like crime. Well, then, it will be dealt as such. Say BLM starts firing weapons. They'll be taken down just like the Panthers. Say the Patriot Boys retaliates against BLM. You may pick sides but they'll be taken down just the same, first made to look like radical extremists--wait, that's already happened.

It'll end up with one party. We're already there, well on the road to serfdom, just two factions fighting for power. But when it hits the fan, they will be united in supressing any outbreak of "civil war."

What I hear you saying is that incidents of people who feel oppressed because of their skin color, their political views, etc., will commit horrendous crimes against the people whom they perceive to be the source and the instigators of their oppression. This brings to mind a question that I seem to recall posing to Veritis a while back, when he was describing just such acts of violence and saying that these would signal the beginning of some larger revolutionary movement or rebellion.

My question was, essentially, how do you tell the difference between a politically-motivated insurgent who shoots the mayor, sets fire to a post office, sets off a bomb in a federal building or commits a mass shooting in a gay nightclub, and a mentally unstable nutcase who does exactly the same thing? In terms of human suffering and morality, is there any difference?

People who felt oppressed, marginalized and ignored by society have been shooting people and blowing things up for hundreds of years. I'm not denying in any way that what you seem to be predicting may come to pass; I'm simply leery of folks who seem to be justifying an increase in the level of violence before it happens. Killing innocent people is not a sane or reasonable reaction to what in most cases are pretty much First World Problems to begin with, if that.

First weather they believe it or not, what is going on today is but a preamble. To what is the Agenda for those that Run the left.

Now if you believe that Pelosi, Schumer, and Biden are running the left, you are mistaken, You have to look at the power behind the Throne. People Like Soro's, and yes you will have interference from other Socialist countries.

So what is happening now. There are 3 things that need to be set up for the left to move to force. #1 BLM is something that the left is using but they don't give a crap about. It is the violence that they need. There will not be one Democrats that sheds a tear if the Black community does decide to get froggy with one of the armed groups, 60 dead bodies are good news for them. They are useful to instill more hate and division, and to handcuff the Police so they are not effective at keeping the peace. This will allow them to move forward on 2 things that they need to happen. Gun Control and Confiscation, and the Courts to allow them to Used the Military as a peace keeping force in the USA End of Round One.

#2 At this point you will see them trying all kinds of feel good moves to disarm the Law Abiding population, again Criminals will be able to have all of Guns that they want, and the Democrats not only will expect but demand that the lawlessness will continue. If the Guns can't be confiscated, look for them to get really friendly with the UN. There are signs of this already with the we can't believe what Trump did.

#3 If there is a large number of Minority lives that are lost, the Democrats will Continue to fuel this fire, but it will no longer be directed at Middle Class White Males. It will be directed at the top 3 to 5 % the wealthiest people in the country, they will be blamed for the violence against the minorities and the poor. Attacking them will be encouraged and the police will not be a factor.

#4 Judges and actions. The reason that the DNC can't have another Trump Victory is the Court. One more Conservative Judge and they will have NO chance at using the Military against the public. They need more than ever the control of the court.

And last when the wealth get in a class war, the Left will call on the UN to come in and keep the peace, and by that they mean purging those that don't want a new socialist Government. First it will be the those that oppose their power, and then it will be the useful Idiots that helped them achieve it. They of course will not be allowed to live because the only thing that they know is destruction.

This is not a play for Black or White Rich or Poor it is a play on the left to become the all powerful dictator and rule this land.

Actually there were no Demonstrations after he was elected the first time OLE Miss students did when he was re elected.

You are likely remembering the demonstrations against Obamacare but they were not violent.
