If the biggest collector of data isn't google , it would be Facebook , Apple or Twitter , closely followed by Bezos . No one else even comes close . What the US gove is trying to protect is their ability to spy on ALL US citizens , and ALL foreign governments and everyone who uses a smartphone . What will it take before you people wake up ?

The main culprit feeding you all the propaganda is your own Main-stream media.....and your own tech companies are harvesting more of your data than every other country in the universe combined . There are cases where a response like that could be appropriate. That wasn't one of those cases. Maybe your time come, but that's doubtful.
