Blocking legislation from being voted on is not what our country is about. Party friendly news channels is not what our country is about. Vicious attacks on appointees is not what this country is about. Polarization is not what this country is about. Over hyping and fear mongering are not what this country is about. Using race to promote agendas that will not help is not what this country is about. Spending many hours of floor time each year simply bashing the other party instead of talking about a fix is not what this country is about.
Holding help for people the government has put out of work hostage over pork is not what this counrty is about. A press devoid of curiosity and integrity is not what this country is about.

Both so called parties have polarized the country and made a mess out of it. Up against a decent opponent the repubs would and should be crushed. But up against the dems, especially given their respective 2020 reactions to events , the repubs look ... not good.... but certainly better!
