Are you aware that the virus kills people of all ages?
Yes, I am aware of that. Doesn't change the fact that children are at virtually no risk from the novel coronavirus.

Doesn't it make sense to try to avoid all these deaths...
Not if we have to ruin society in the process.

...which by the way are almost 3 times the amount of soldiers killed in Vietnam? Or are people of all ages expendable?
People who die from coronavirus aren't being "expended" in service of some cause, so the question makes no sense. And many of the people who die from coronavirus were going to die within a year no matter what we did.

Just look at Sweden. They never had a real lock down and they're fine. There was no coronavirus apocalypse there. And there won't be one here either. Because novel coronavirus isn't nearly as bad as the media and the government have been claiming. That has become painfully obvious at this point. And it's not just pro-Trump robots who think that.
I know quite a few people at high risk, including myself that are not bedridden nor in nursing homes. I have another roommate at high risk.

Yes, there are some high-risk individuals who are not in nursing homes. But most high-risk individuals are in nursing homes. We know that based on the data. Anywhere between 50% to 80% of reported COVID deaths happened to nursing home residents. The median age of a COVID death is somewhere around 77 years, which is approximately the same as the average life expectancy. I think the medical establishment has done a terrible disservice to individuals such as yourself. They want you to believe that if healthy people quarantine themselves and wear masks everywhere, that you will be safer as a result. Yet data from New York showed that, at one point, two-thirds of their COVID patients were adhering to all the social distancing guidelines being foisted on us by lying politicians. In other words, all this healthcare theater failed to protect them. And that should come as no surprise, since this entire strategy was completely made up just a few months ago, on the fly, by "experts" who serially exaggerate the threat that new viruses pose to the population.
