BREAKING: SCOTUS Has Made a Decision on President Trump's Tax Returns

Trump goes one and one on his Tax Returns. SCOTUS Slaps Democrats up the backside of their Dome. Temp Victory. Slaps Trump over Subpoena in Criminal Case Out of NY.

In a 7-2 opinion released Thursday morning, the Supreme Court determined President Trump does not have an overt obligation to release his tax returns and other personal financial information to Congressional committees. The Court kicked the case back to the lower courts. This is a temporary victory for the President.

Three congressional committees, led by Democrats, have subpoenaed a number of banks used by President Trump for his businesses. They've asked for a decade's worth of his tax returns. That documentation does not have to be turned over, for now.

On a separate case, the Supreme Court ruled the President does not have immunity against criminal subpoenas.....snip~

Of course NY will not be allowed to share any of his tax returns, and best hope they don't get caught leaking them

As far as the first announced case, it is unlikely NY will get the documents before the election. Trump can still argue against it but not use the same reasons.
When Donald Trump said to protest “peacefully”, he meant violence.

When he told protesters to “go home”, he meant stay for an insurrection.

And when he told Brad Raffensperger to implement “whatever the correct legal remedy is”, he meant fraud.

    War is peace.

    Freedom is slavery.

    Ignorance is strength.

For the NY case, SCOTUS remanded it back where Trump can present legal arguments, other than immunity, to still have a shot to block release.

Also doesn't mean any of it could be made public if NY is successful.

In my opinion this was a Supreme Court attack on the office of the Presidency.

Every two-bit politician/prosecutor can now criminally investigate any President. It potentially opens the Executive branch to lawfare. It is bad for the country.
Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

Once given to Democrats the returns will be leaked so thousands of Democrats can pore over a decade's worth of information to find ammunition for further attacks.

Even worse, no successful individual will ever again run for high office. This is a bad day for the Republic.

What has changed since Trump took office? We've investigated Presidents for criminal acts in the past.
