no one forced China to accept anything.
So, now, you are admitting that Oz is China's piece of property

    This is a fiction.

You could attribute a lot of this to the Trump style ......he divided America into two opposing halves , instead of pulling the country together to meet any future challenges as a united country . If America wants to rebuild it's means of production , just do it . The only place that can start is at ground level ........and start spending less on increasing corporate wealth , and more on protecting that supremely valuable asset , the US consumer market .

The US is in a death spiral while China is on the ascent. Americans cannot even organize their own society properly, yet they think they can take on a giant like China? This country is so screwed. I cannot believe this is the same country founded by men like Washington and Jefferson. What the hell happened?

No China is not on the ascent. Not even close.

Agreed. That's why I said we, Americans, also made this mistake and foolishly ceded our means of production to China, in the name of cheap labor and low-priced goodies. Then we got into this disaster of lacking PPE (supplies are actually getting tight again).

That could be that it hurt American consumers. But the strategy did hurt China. Meanwhile our economy was humming, GDP growth was healthy, financial markets strong in fact setting records, unemployment very low also setting records. And if you'd read the timeline, China's tariffs on the US are also noted, but none of that ever referred to as a war, none of that ever addressed in context of hurting the Chinese economy.

Trump knew he could afford such a tariff war, our economy much more stable than China's. Could endure trade wars, could endure pancaking the TPP and toasting NAFTA. Along with withdrawing from the Paris Climate income redistribution accord not to mention the idiocy of the Iranian Deal, he ended it all.

China's existing trade imbalance and tariffs and intellectual property theft and currency manipulation...…was never ever called a policy of 'trade war.' Never considered anything but business as usual. China...and spokesman PJL never discussed it...any of these trade policies prior to Trump's retaliation tariffs and then it became a "war."

While it was one-side. While China ran hundreds of billions in trade surpluses with us each and every year....it was all strong negotiation, it was China 'showing its' strength.' Trump demands these surpluses must end, slaps retaliatory tariffs on China......and all of the sudden, that's heavy handed negotiation tactics thus Trump should be hated and feared.

I posted the timeline. Trump was blazing.....with both guns drawn from the holsters. In the middle of negotiations....he'd slap many more sanctions on always moving the goal post for better American interests. The Chinese finally realized he wasn't going to budge....and came to the table sat down, and agreed to a first phase purchase of 200 billion for American Agriculture. That is bank my friends. One billion is 1000 million, China will purchase...200 billion in American Agriculture. Trump 2020

All we have to do is make our own $#@!. Much of this is really that simple.
