I think that we are doing better than one would think.

We already know that the CDC has confirmed that the Books are being cooked when it comes to this virus.

While some will look the other way, if you want to find it there is evidence that Democrat Gov's willingly infected Nursing Homes to boost the death count. I believe that these people should be held accountable for their actions.

It will be Amazing to see the miracle that will happen on November 3 if Joe Biden wins. The Corona Virus will become the common cold in this country and we will return to normal is my prediction

Our numbers are rising because we are doing more test. I believe some days in June saw 3 x as much testing as back in March and April. The infection rate is considerably less and the MSM cannot be trusted to provide even whole truths much less real news. please don't take my word for that but rather look it up.

As for me I put poorly because

1) We have damaged our economy in irrepairable ways, ignored the Constitution, effectively had state kings ( about as unamerican as it gets) for months.
2) Still didn't do much better than at least one country that did not over react, Sweden.
3) NYC despite being quite restricted became the world epicenter due to unchecked world air travel, a near total reliance on public transport and an unwillingness on King Andy's part to focus on slowing the virus getting out of NYC. Clearly restrictions didn't do the job in a modern mega city. If this had been the real killer virus the northeast would have been devastated due to NYC.

You make some valid points. Except that the numbers are not rising just because of more tests, because the number of hospitalizations is also rising, and the percentage of positive tests is going up, too.

Carolina73 is right otherwise Mayor DeBlasio and other mayors would not be allowing these violent gatherings. It's the parades, fairs, Mom&Pop restaurants, churches that are the real problem. Covid is as deadly as it is intelligent.
