Didn't Biden say about a month ago that he was not in favor of defunding the police?
Yet a couple of days ago he said he would "absolutely" redirect police funding into other areas.

So which is it? I hear this may be an important issue in the elections this November.

This is all part of the insanity creep. No one was in favor of defunding the police orginally (other than BLM). Then a few weeks later about 1/3 of the country liked the idea. Then city governments actually started putting it into effect. Then people started to talk about abolishing the police, and people said that was crazy. Who knows how it will end up?

Yes democrats .I will be the first person to admit cops are not perfect . some make mistakes some are bad just as in any industry.
But defunding is not the answer only morons think that.
Good training and more training as they are on the force. And better oversite by a group of senior officers and civilian business members.no politicans no activist

It does appear that he will basically say anything in order to get elected. In some ways this comforts me, because if he should become president, then maybe there's hope he actually isn't going to enact every crazy thing that he says. It's similar to Trump in some ways, because Trump says a lot of crazy things, but you have to watch more what he does, not what he says. In both cases, I imagine their staff keep them reined in somewhat. The thing is, I trust the people behind Biden a lot less. The people they pander to hate this country.
