A-10 Warthog saves ambushed soldiers and blows away Taliban snipers
US and Afghan soldiers got held up by a sniper ambush (what we called a far ambush) and got on line under cover to return fire. Apparently the enemy's weapon had a longer range than the small arms our guys had. So what to do?
Call in an A-10.

Problem solved.
A video posted to YouTube shows U.S. Army and Afghan soldiers getting caught under Taliban sniper ambush. In order to regain control over the situation, an airstrike is called in and an A-10 Warthog comes to the rescue.
