If you have antibodies, you had Covid, right?

    Maybe not...

    What do your results mean?

    If you test positive

    • A positive test result shows you may have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.

That's good to know -- so -- if you have antibodies and think you're safe from infection, you might not be.

Am I the only one that thinks this is goofy?

I think they are trying to confuse people. While I got something back in Jan, it took months to get rid of every symptom. Sometimes you had new ones. It's not a after two weeks you are fine if you have underlying conditions. I wasn't getting it again, just wasn't over it.

Even if you had the right kind of antibodies, I'm not sure it protects you much. There are some examples of people getting sick a second time. I don't think the experts know conclusively if it is something you can develop an immunity/resistance to.

There is a lot of contradictory information out there so I think it's just better to be safe, than sorry.

I went to a friend, a Dr. last year and had him remove one of my toenails. He put 3 or 4 shots in the toe and then removed it along with the roots. He was surprised and said I can't believe you didn't even flinch. You are the first. People are too emotional these days. Every little thing scares them.

Everybody is learning on the fly. It's the nature of scientific experiment. There are several different mutations of this virus so far. Each one might bring different symptoms with different degrees of severity.

The problem is that this isn't a normal case study. We have no cooperation across the nation, so it's literally impossible to pinpoint a number of causes/cures.

It makes sense that the nation should all be using masks and hand sanitizer. There is no down side to taking basic precautions.

I went and got tested. They say I do not have them. I have never stopped doing just about anything. Gold every weekend. eating out. Work everyday.

Something is up with this deal. Things we think we know we do not. 1 - 2 years from now we are going to look back and go well that was wrong. Seriously if this is as deadly as being presented how in the hell are the homeless still around? Somethings off. It wouldn't surprise me if they said later the masks made no difference.

I am tired of everyone fighting with each other. This is all by design.

I just read an interesting article about Red state governors who have been holding 'secret' phone conversations with each other after hours, in order to come up with a plan to deal with the virus. They don't want to appear to break off from trump, but they realize that they have to.

    Kind of sad.
