At 9:49 a.m, in the middle of a desperate, climbing turn, the ten-ton B-25 slammed into the 79th floor of the Empire State Building.

I heard about it a few times, but only after 9-11 when they starting talking about planes have hit high rises before.

Yep, it's a true story. I was very surprised when I saw it - last year some time.

I wonder though if it didn't inspire a like incident...
