I really don't care either except i think Seattle should close down their borders so none can get out or in. I don't want Seattle folk settling in my area. All they do is to bring their ill conceived ideas with them.

    Yeah, "save" alright!

    Well ... yeah ...

Make it clearly understood to the rest of the country that this is Seattle's doing, and nobody elses, and don't send any aid. None.

How does ONE city justify 400 million for ANYTHING??

Well, according to the resolution, the Seattle Police Department perpetuates racism and violence. Oh, yes, and it’s a vehicle of white supremacy. It's typical 'woke' nonsense, and it's a cancer that's killing America.

Also, did you catch that backdoor Marxism with the re-appropriation of land? This is basically making CHOP, the zone that was seized by armed leftists earlier this summer, into citywide policy. Social workers cannot bring law and order, only police officers can do that. You know this. The Emerald City is sprinting further down the path of total anarchy. Recently, Police Chief Carmen Best revealed a van impounded during last weekend’s riots that contained a variety of weapons including bombs. She said it’s highly probable that these weapons were being distributed to rioters from the van. Best also ripped into the council for making her officers less safe with their nonsensical motions, like banning crowd control munitions such as flashbangs and tear gas. The ‘woke’ council is gladly handing the city over to Marxist terrorists because ‘orange man…bad.’

This resolution is an endorsement of mob violence and rule. Do they really want the military on the streets after the Insurrection Act is invoked? We can make that happen.....snip~

The left will keep pushing and the Democrats still wont come out and condemn the violence. What should be investigated into is if Democrats are enabling these people.

It's like having a dear relative who is alcoholic and famously won't listen to reason. Sometimes you have to let them make their own mistakes, even when innocents could potentialy get hurt.

That is what we need to do here. Call them on their bluff. Do not resist. Let one city do this for a month and then broadcast the carnage .

I agree, I am against sending any Feds there. If Seattle is stupid enough to abolish their police department, let them live with it. Why should we bail them out, I guarantee it wouldn't be appreciated anyway. They would just cry about "Trump's Stormtroopers" inciting the violence.
In the meantime, can we deport our criminals to Seattle?

It's not going to happen. The Seattle city council is only pandering to their fringe base. This is just a symbolic gesture. They are looking for publicity on a national stage.

There's no way that they could get away with eliminating a police force.

the funny part is they will vote out the member of the council and they will be on TV telling anyone that will listen that they did not realize how racist their city was.

As for them, let them do it. send Federal Troops to make sure that the violence stays in the city limits but don't sent them in. Let the good people of Seattle take care of the problem as they see fit.
