The Weird Thing About China and COVID

Yes, this is in the Conspiracy Theory forum but take a look.

China's population is 1.39 BILLION
The USA's population is 328 MILLION

That means the population of the United States is less than one-quarter of the population of China.

Now, look at the death tolls from COVID (all from Arcgis stats):

USA confirmed COVID deaths -- 154,449
China confirmed COVID deaths -- 4,667

Some will say China is a liar (about their death toll), others will say the Chinese (where this virus started) wore their masks from day one and stayed home.

The official story is that China reported a cluster of unknown pneumonia cases on Dec 31, 2019. Eventually, we were told Covid originated in a crowded Wuhan wet market.

Excuse me? In a market such as this, they were able to contain the spread of a virus they knew nothing about (at first) and limit death nationwide to under 5K?




I think not.

Right now, the USA (based strictly on overall population) has seen 0.04% of its population die of Covid.

If 0.04% of China's population perished, that would be more than 5 MILLION Chinese citizens. Yet, less than 5, 000 have died?

I think not.

If China isn't lying about their death toll, they have a vaccine and it was administered to its citizens before Covid started making the rounds.

It is safe to say that any numbers China releases are suspect. That includes economic numbers. It included numbers of cases and deaths from the Wuhan Red Death.

Does China have any reason to exaggerate the number of corona deaths? No. Does USA? Yes.

Remember any "news" that comes out of China has one goal. That is to make the Chinese Communist Party look good. The party has to be seen as very effective in everything.

My guess is there are all kinds of deaths not reported. Think about it. In the US we are exaggerating our deaths to make our government look bad. In China it is 180 degrees opposite.

Why?

That is a lot of people. A lot of family linked to all those people. Chinese people do have contact with the outside world. If a cover up on such a scale really took place it would be impossible to keep quiet.
