As you may have guessed the Ontario population is not evenly distributed throughout the province. As you can see from the maps below, the population of Ontario is tightly concentrated in a small area along the southern border and the great lakes. From the looks of it, 85-90% of the province is wilderness and farmland.

The capital city of Ontario is Toronto. With a population of 2.8 million people, It is the fourth largest city on this continent.

Ottawa, the capital of Canada, also lives in Ontario with close to a million people.

There are several other urban centers with populations of 700k, 523k, 519k, ...

As pointed out much of Ontario is Wilderness, and that the populations are concentrated in the cities.

Well lets look at Texas

But Texas is helping our neighbors in Mexico and taking in those that can't get medical treatment. A large portion of the Covid cases are in the immigrant populations.

Ontario on the other hand will not even let their baseball team have home games because they will not allow anyone in our out.

You see this is a tactic of the left. They really want you to think that TX and FL are where all of the Covid Deaths are, when CA and NY have so many that the south will never catch up.

Liberals will have to lie about everything between now and the election they are running on returning to the Obama policies and people have not forgotten how bad it was, they see how far Joe is slipping and it is crumbling under them.

I did not claim that Texas had an evenly dispersed population. You are the one who implied that Ontario did. You did that in order to pretend Ontario was a bad comparison. Ontario was able to do a better job at a proper re-opening strategy even though it also has large densely populated urban centers.

I know that Florida does not count non-citizens in their covid numbers (which is a scandalous deception). Their population is ~20 million. Yesterday they posted about 7 thousand new cases of covid.

Ontario allows commerce and cross border workers in and out.

My understanding is that Mexico has significantly stopped migrants from crossing north.

On a per capita basis Florida and Texas are doing far worse than CA. And New York is now one of the safest states with among the lowest transmission rates.
