Best read that again; Afghanistan 'turned' into an Islamic State....will severely put at risk nuclear Pakistan....is my point. Will destabilize Pakistan's nuclear tipped government. Should Pakistan fall to an Islamic State......their nuclear weapons become a great risk to historically despised India.....who is currently having border spats with China.
My main theme.....Afghanistan isn't happening in a vacuum. That's not the way these geopolitical struggles turn out. We cannot tolerate a Taliban governed Afghanistan, it simply isn't a tenable solution for the United States. Taliban political influence can be tolerated. Taliban politics cannot be snuffed out. Any Taliban government can...and should. Like.....immediately.
