but dont forget that Russia and Turkey, who have formed a sometimes rocky alliance over the past four years, back opposing sides in Libya's wrenching war but may yet find a deal over the conflict that would leave the West as bystanders, analysts say.

when yo have a dictator ship like with a crazy man as leader supporting terror across the world and your nation ends up a shat hole dguess what to bad PLO . when you call the lighting down on your own head dont cry like a bady and hide in a drain pipe as the brother leader did when his own people came for him , to bad so sad

    Shareholding structure

Estimates below are as of December 31, 2019, excluding treasury shares, based on the survey of identifiable holders of bearer shares conducted on that date.

Well that link doesnt help you. There is a reason why it says North America and not the US.

Oh 2010 is the latest you were hoping to hang your hat on. Imagine that. Sorry that link doesnt help make your case either.

Yes that is what you said.....but as usual you were wrong. Besides that it appears you have been missing several years of reality.

The National Oil Corporation (NOC; Arabic: المؤسسة الوطنية للنفط‎) is the national oil company of Libya. It dominates Libya's oil industry, along with a number of smaller subsidiaries, which combined account for around 70% the country's oil output.[1] Of NOC's subsidiaries, the largest oil producer is the Waha Oil Company (WOC), followed by the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (Agoco), Zueitina Oil Company (ZOC), and Sirte Oil Company (SOC).[2]

About 80% of Libya’s proven oil reserves are located in the Sirte Basin Province, which accounts for 90% of the country’s oil output.

Libya responded by concluding its third Exploration and Production Sharing Arrangements (EPSA-III) in 1988, including agreements with Rompetrol, the Romanian Oil Company, Royal Dutch Shell, Montedison, International Petroleum Corporation of Canada, INA-Naftaplin, OMV, Braspetro and Husky Oil. The agreements included expenditure guarantees by the Libyan government, an important departure from earlier regulations, designed to help offset sanctions.

The company was initially known as Esso Standard Libya Inc.,[3] the first company to discover commercial quantities of crude oil in the Zelten oil field.[4] In 1981, Exxon (parent company of Esso Standard) withdrew their Libyan operations, after which Sirte Oil Company was formed as a NOC subsidiary. It was established to operate the former Esso Sirte installation like the Marsa el-Brega refinery.[5]

In 1986, SOC took over the assets of Grace Petroleum, one of the five US companies forced by the U.S. government to leave Libya. In 1991, SOC merged with the National Petrochemical Company,[3] creating the Sirte Oil Company for Production, Manufacturing of Oil and Gas. Activities included oil refining, liquefaction of natural gas and petrochemicals (methanol, ammonia and urea).

NOC has the largest share of the Waha concession, and additional partners include Marathon Oil (16.33%) and Amerada Hess.[22]

In December 2019, NOC stated that it had approved France’s Total purchase of stakes in the country’s Waha concessions......snip~

Its not surprising you are wrong. Didnt know what you were talking about. As you never were in the top of the class. Nor even in the middle of the class. No wonder the Commies were able to trick you. You know it has to do with the shape of the letter L on your forehead. LMAO.

And I proved you wrong. Less than 10% goes to the US and UK combined. 19% goes to Italy alone.

80plus% of Libya's oil exports goes to European markets.

We are self-sufficient in oil. We don't need their oil.

The only two things we should be interested in there is Iranian nuclear weapons and Israel.
