You have nothing to complain about. You wanted us to leave Iran alone, so.....you got what you wanted, eh?

A top U.S. intelligence official put out a report today that three foreign adversaries, Russia, China and Iran, were trying to influence the 2020 presidential election. The head of U.S. counterintelligence found both China and Iran want Joe Biden to win the election, while Russia prefers Trump. Can you guess which election meddling bothered the three evening news broadcasts the most?

ABC spent the majority of their reporting on World News Tonight Friday, using soundbites from the president to suggest he wanted Russia to meddle in the election, while touting Biden declaring his toughness towards Putin. Correspondent Rachel Scott even tried to characterize Trump’s toughness on China as a desperate attempt to boost his poll numbers: “The President, down in the polls, has taken an aggressive posture toward Beijing, blaming China for the pandemic.”

ABC was also notably the only network to deliberately leave out the report saying Iran wanted Trump to lose the election.

Correspondent Paula Reid on CBS Evening News also tried to downplay how China wants Biden to win, even going so far as to defend Biden as tough on China.
I'd like to thank you for this post not only because it's true and fair, but also because it has managed to get some of our resident conservatives to admit (implied I think by Thanking this post) that Russia has indeed intervened on the current president's behalf in stark contrast to everything they've been saying on the topic for the last nearly four years now. You have done this place a double-service hence and gotten us back on the same page.

YES! Russian election interference is NOT the only kind out there and a discussion of other actors DOES merit more inclusion in the news cycle, as it could become rather relevant say next year! It (Russian intervention) is real though and it's not just "to screw up our confidence" in the abstract, but to get a particular candidate elected. One who will defend Moscow when evidence surfaces that they're paying Taliban operatives to kill our troops for example.

It is not a surprise that a foreign hostile power interferes in our elections.

What is a curiosity is people are clueless to this.

Most Conservatives knew 4 years ago that Russia intervened in the Election playing both sides of that same coin. Especially the Conservatives here. It was those leftists like yourself that didnt pay attention to what was said. Nor the reality that was shown. (Typical of the left when it doesnt jive with their Narrative. So all that is Bolded in your purposeful avoidance of reality. Is just sheer Bull$#@!.

We also knew that the Democrats under BO the Peep, the utterer stutterer and his Dimwitted Crew. Allowed the Russians to hack into all our Top branches of Government. The State Dept. The Pentagon.....and even used State Dept Computers to hack into the WH. Also allowed China and Iran to breach us.

Yes unfortunately.....it was due to Deviate Democrats not following rules, protocols, laws etc.

Btw you can check the archives on the threads we had up on the issue. Wherein you were noticeably absent.

Yes we know. The sole reason we haven't seen a world war in 75 years is US meddling. Simply not allowing Communism to own Europe changed the world, allowed freedom to ring. Still being in South Korea the sole reason that nation is an economic behemoth. Indeed our Monroe Doctrine, our prevention of nuclear missiles in Cuba, our monitoring seas from China to Red, our flag snapping in the breezes of gulfs from Panama to Persian.

    You're welcome.

@IMPress Polly ,might you allow we 'resident conservatives' to thank YOU? And refer to post #126 on Sept 21, 2017 amazingly nearly 3 years ago. For that thread/post right here on our tpf board reveals the Russian interference you speak to...to the f-ckin nines.

The Russian interference I speak to.....was addressed just this week in testimony by Sally Yates to the Senate Judiciary Committee that as acting AG, knowing what she knows today, she would NOT have signed off twice on fisa warrants authorizing ongoing spying on the incoming Trump Administration. She admitted this 'dossier' was incorrect and if she'd known then what she knows now, she would have put a stop to it. I want Observers here to first listen to Yates' exchange with Senator Lindsay Graham and then read IMPress Polly's post #126 on Sept 21, 2017.

I would also like to speak to the Robert Mueller 'investigation' that also concluded after Polly's post #126 on September 21, 2017. Where it's claimed that concerning "collusion" why quote, "we will have a far more concrete picture when the Mueller report is completed, which is expected to wrap up some time around the end of the year?" unquote.

And we do have a mush more concrete picture today than IMPRess Polly lays out in post #126 on September 2017. Mueller didn't find any collusion. No evidence of it. No ' secret back channel' as Polly claims, these was no collusion at all after tens of millions spent, countless investigation, nothing. Zero. And yet...….this post #126 proves Polly and many more millions of gullible Americans.....truly believed their incoming President had colluded with the Russians. Truly believed the Russian dossier was true. This was Russian disinformation.....and what more proof is needed that Russia interfered in our elections.....that millions who swallowed whole their propaganda? Does membership here need even more proof? Look to that last paragraph of post #126 on September 21, 2017 nearly three years ago and I quote....

"If you want my personal opinion, I think that dossier that surfaced last December is the truth. We'll likely know one way or the other relatively soon though, so I leave you to your denialist view for now."

What else do you people need, how much more evidence could you 'conservatives' possibly want. There is Polly....our distinguished and capable Member....totally falling for absolute Russian misinformation. Truly believing that our incoming President had colluded with Putin, that the Russians had helped elect Donald Trump. This dossier now proven absolute hogwash, Sally Yates says no way it gets by her desk had she known that.....Polly was bamboozled here. And so were million of Americans. They fell for this hook line and f'n sinker. Yates' testimony further lays out the real 'implications' here. Who the players were, how Flynn was targeted, how this dossier was used to not only deceive gullible American People, it was used to try to destroy an incoming President. High level shiit if I might say so myself. Here is what Polly was saying in 2017, the post # in case you missed it is post #126 and the date in case you missed it is September 21st, 2017, the post of course....speaks for its' f'n self. I rest my case.

Dude, do you have any mode of communication besides taking everything to 11?

I'd respond further, but I'd rather just let your "case" stay rested.
