Yep.....Trump made sure the Demos were shown as putting their agenda before helping people.

What I find surprising is Trump has claimed that he is the ultimate deal maker, this sure doesn't look good on his record. The Americans who are negatively impacted by this will no doubt help them in their decision as to who to vote for in November.

Right now due to the Demos refusing to negotiate over their pork, and voters knowing the Demos held up the relief to small business. Looks like its helped them in their decision to run 5 Demos out of Congress. 2 in California even.

You failed to acknowledge that even Trumps closest supporters realize that he is wrong for signing off on the EO. The democrats have offered to meet McConnell half way and yet the republicans are refusing to negotiate in good faith.

If I were you I'd worry about Trump and the constitutional crisis he's created and the negative impact it's created on his campaign for president, unless you've already written him off. As for the House, while you paint a gloomy picture, the democrats are expected to keep control of the House and possibly retake the Senate. If you are a die hard republican, November 3rd might be a very disappointing day for you.

They are correct if they are Constitutionists. But none of those types has said he has created a Constitutional Crisis knowing that EO's are temporary and going to court for a decision. Now should he refuse the courts decision. There would be a Constitutional Crisis.

While they may not have said he's created a Constitutional crises, they have expressed concern over his actions. Senator Ben Sasse who is a republican Senator was critical of the move by trump claiming it was "unconstitutional slop".

Pelosi says she's willing to meet McConnell half way which tells me the democrats are willing to bargain with the republicans so what do they have to lose? The democrats are trying to keep people from financial ruin until the economy returns while the republicans are merely placing a band-aid over the wound.

I wonder how many people realize that under Trumps suspension of payroll tax that at the end of the year they are going to have to pay it back? How many will have saved enough to pay back the interest free loan they received? He's going to cut SS and Medicare? That ought to go over rather well with those who depend on it. And the so-called $400 has an out where they don't get the money unless the state contributes the first $100 and which is an unknown since many states are already in financial straits as it is.

The above is only a few of the reasons why the republicans need to sit down and bargain in good faith IMO.

You mean that Pelosi and Schumer are going to have to cancel the payments to American voters?

Why would anyone want to do that!
