Wouldn't that be a little insulting to Feminists and people wanting to see the first female president? Wouldn't it be better if one was elected straight up, rather than "backing in" to the job?
Edited to say: On second thought, maybe they'd prefer it this way. Because then they could still maintain the famous liberal "victim status", and say that women are oppressed and the racist, sexist, evil US would never vote for a black Asian woman.
